Parking - Parking at the parish is always free. We have additional spots next to our handicapped parking reserved for those who can't walk a long distance to mass. Our larger parking lot next to the sanctuary is on the West side of the church, across from the police station, with entrances both on Lawrence St. and Walnut St. The small parking lot on the East side of the building connects to our parish offices and can be entered from Lawrence St. There is also street parking available.
Worship Aids are used in church - As you enter the sanctuary, you will be warmly greeted by one of our hospitality ministers. You may pick up a worship aid which is your guide to music and sung responses for today's liturgy.
Hearing Loop - Our sanctuary is equipped with a Hearing Loop system which transmits sound to hearing aids and cochlear implants.
Parent's Room - Children of all ages are welcome at Mass! We offer a Parent's Room for families with young children. The Parent's Room is located to the right of the sanctuary, through the Solanus Garden atrium.
Gluten-Free Hosts - If you would like to receive communion but require a gluten-free host, stop by the sacristy before Mass and inform the sacristan of your need. The sacristy is to the right of the front of the sanctuary as you face the altar.
Coffee and Donuts - Join us in the Great Hall (West side of the building) for donuts after 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM Sunday Masses, or for cookies after 4:00 PM Saturday Mass and 6:30 PM Sunday Mass.
Stop in the parish office, or call us at (920) 734-7195 and let the receptionist know that you'd like to join St. Joe's! She will set up an appointment to meet with you. At the meeting, you will be given a new member folder with information about St. Joseph Parish. You will be introduced to staff members and given a tour of the church and parish office.
All our members - both old and new - have a place in our parish. Everyone has the opportunity to help St. Joe's grow by sharing talents. It's only when we all put our pieces together that St. Joseph Parish becomes complete. Jesus didn't draft his disciples; they came forward to reach out, and we here at St. Joseph invite you to reach out to and share your talents with our community of faith. For a complete description of the ministries offered at St. Joseph, please see our Stewardship of Service Book.
